This is for a newly hand built 700c road bike rear wheel incorporating brand new black DT Swiss R460 rim-brake 32 hole rims, brand new black or silver Miche Primato Syntesi hubs, Sapim Leader silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. The R460 18mm Road Rim is the ultimate all-rounder, go-anywhere rim. It features a wide internal rim width and is light at 460g, and strong while being very affordable. It provides an exceptional tyre profile and meets the performance demand for wider tyres, which are a modern standard in the world of top-level road cycling. As well as being a high-performer, it features fantastic reliability and durability, which in turn makes it highly versatile and ready for any adventure, terrain and race. The rims can be used with or without tubes. The Miche Primato Syntesi hubs provide a good basis for a fast wheel set, whether for training or for competition.

The hubs are made in Italy with a lightweight forged aluminium hub body, sealed cartridge bearings for long lasting smoothness and AL7075-T6 freehub to further reduce weight. Mechanics appreciate Miche Primato Syntesi road hubs as they have a long-life span and can be fully serviced, dismantled with two 5mm Allen keys, bearing preload is controlled by a 2mm Allen key. Hubs are set for 130mm quick release - skewer provided.

Choose between a standard Shimano/SRAM 11 speed freehub or 11/12 speed Campagnolo freehub. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with new. Sapim Leader silver stainless steel. Spokes and nickel plated brass nipples.

This beautiful wheel has been hand trued, dished and spokes tensioned according to rim manufacturers recommendations. Wheels are bubble wrapped and boxed properly.
